LMAO! How can anyone say that Hasbro "dropped the ball" when this offer has been in effect SINCE JANUARY!
"While supplies last" does not mean "while you decide whether or not to bite the bullet and buy 6 CPs now or wait until later". People can't find MASS PRODUCED items in retail..but expect a Mail Away, a highly sought after mail away to be readily available for God & Country over half a year later?! Oh, and since it's already been said 348975893475 times, let me make sure I'm 348975893475 & 1: FUN PUBLICATIONS SOLD DOC AT THE CON, NOT HASBRO. FYI, it's not like they had pallets of Docs waiting to be sold either. There were enough to go around (hardly). As for those that got more than one when they only ordered one...you can blame "The Express Group", hasbro's clearing house, based in Azle, TX. Doc was not shipped to you from Pawtucket, RI. |

It seems to me Doc would be a prime candidate to release in the Modern Era white border card repacks. I just hope Hasbro will do that.
I knew supplies would run out, but I was waiting to pick up wave 4 comic packs (which I have yet to find in my area) to get a second Doc to open. I just hope Hasbro will re-release Doc in some fashion. Lets hope "good things come to those who wait" will work this time. A straight-up re-release would be a kick in the nuts to those of us who sent in 150 Flag Points and bought 6 comic packs (two of which I probably wouldn't have purchased but for this premium). When you add it up, DOC cost us a lot more than $7.99. I hope they never re-release it and it remains a special collectable. |

On the bright side there's no excuse for Hasbro to not offer another mail in promotion at some point in time. As much as it sucks for those who missed out it's actually a good thing that they sold through completely.

Technically, Doc would still be a special collectable as the package would be different if they re-released him. He wouldn't be in the 25th Anniversary packaging nor would he have a clamshell or the mailer box. Different package, different product. If they did re-release him, it would be nice to have a black stretcher and black flare gun as well.

Also, for those that already mailed in their redemption forms, contact Hasbro and see if your name is on any "lists".
As mentioned, if your check was cashed, your order will be filled. |
