When Hasbro shows same stuff for the past 6 months, they usually tend to get it out. That doesn't mean, however, every retail store in the country will get them or get them in number. Walmart may still refuse to carry the line in many of its stores, so some will probably have to take that great leap and put in an online pre-order to ensure you get your figures. The spring 2011 Transformers stuff didn't get released in number to retail, but it was all available (depending on the item, some of it still is) for MONTHS via the online guys. But I doubt any of you are really going to pay attention so go on back to your aimless worry-worting that the big bad GI Joe movie is going to come along and take away all your toys.

For god's sake, Hasbro has SIX FUCKING MONTHS to sell GI Joe, at least. Even chucking in Kwinn and a few more carryovers, Hasbro ONLY has about two-three waves worth of product (and only about 1/4 as many vehicles this year).

^Yeah, Rip definitely looks off. It's a shame that we get him instead of RB, or Baroness, or Destro, etc. Of all the upcoming figures, I think he's the one I'm least excited for.

This isn't aimless worry-worting. I haven't seen waves 3, 4, 5, or 6 of POC yet. Every other Hasbro line I collect has been the same way so that there's entire waves I've never seen a sign of and most waves that I have seen have only been a lone figure here or there. So I rrally do consider any new things shown at cons as teasers of stuff I either won't ever see or will only see if I shell 2x or 3x retail price to buy them online.
But I still have every figure released to date thanks to online retailers, and at best I've only payed a buck or two above retail (which, in the end, I more than cover by NOT driving 45 plus minutes on "hunting") So I really don't have much patience when people (not you, specifically, but others do say this) start harking how "they can't find anything" when they have multiple stores available in a less than 20 minute driven. If I, a person without a Target, Toys R Us, Kmart, or any real hobby shops and a Walmart which does not carry GI Joe, is capable of keeping up with GI Joe WITHOUT paying 2 or 3 times retail, then pretty much anyone can also do so. If your local retail sucks, there are MANY options online aside from paying significantly above retail.

I have not had GI Joe at my local retailer (Walmart) since spring 2010. I have seen NO PoC at retail. AT all, that means no vehicles, no "shelf warmers", no clearance leftovers. As far as the Altus area is concerned, GI Joe might as well not even exist.
