to sorta back up the idea on how it's fiscally sound...
i was on set when they filmed transformers 2 in bethlehem pennsylvania... at bethlehem steel... a few years later, i was working for the mayor of bethlehem doing photography work and we got to chatting on a coffee break about the reasoning behind the transformers coming to bethlehem...he's a 40 something hip guy, very cool, not your typical stuffy old man image you'd think of when it comes to local politician type...and he's obviously a fan. anyway... the steel mill shared a similar look to the chinese set they wanted...and bay wanted to keep as much work in the US without using sound stages as he could before jetting off to egypt... but overall, what the deciding factors were, was what the production company would be willing to pay to use a landmark within the city for X amount of dollars that would in turn be used for projects that needed X amount of dollars for a push within bethlehem. the time that transformers was shot there plans had been sorta stalling to finish build a casino adjacent to the actual furnace rooms...bc funds were tight. so...what ended up happening was, that the deal hinged on a dollar amount that would put the construction of the casino (which is a Sands) on the fast track. so in effect the money that the city got for use of the landmark, was filtered into pushing thru the casino project to bring the seemingly stalled construction back to life in-turn, and in hopes to generate more revenue for the city. the price was low enuff for production to bite and use the place...and high enuff to help local economy by finishing a project that was moving a long very slowly and by being able to pay and maintain the specialist workers needed for the casino's completion...bc up to that point, it was very low on man power to complete bc the funds simply were not there. same is happening in louisiana... |

If Miller is going to return as recently reported, the combination of humidity, heat, and her Baroness black leather outfit is going to make he poonany smell like a tuna factory with a power outage. Basically she is going to smell like Tatum's acting.

I live here in New Orleans and have been an extra in a few movies already.
I'd love to sign up for this one! or be some kind of assistant/consultant haha, I have plenty of knowledge of the different continuities, comic book stuff.... if anyone here is an "insider" and can give me an "in", that'd be fantastic. this combines my love for joes and movies into one and for work, well, that's even better to get paid for it as I have a little girl and I'm still in school as well.
