Damn it, looks like they all use that outdated body from the late 90's/early 2000's

Ehhh………Hasbro used to make a fairly decent 12 incher like a dozen years ago. Boxed figures with fair amount of accessories and beautiful artwork. These aren't worthy of an anniversary collection.
What happened hasbro? They just don't care anymore and got lazy. Who made these? A woman? Where's your super-articulated body? By the way it's 11 inches not 12. Where's the all the kit and accessories? Where's the body armour? A modern soldier is naked without it. Do it right or not at all! |

So the only articulation these have are swivel shoulder and hip, like the mid 90's Star Wars 12"? Hasbro put out a 12" Indiana Jones line around KOTCS and it rocked. If these don't match that articulation, it's a pass from me. That firefighter does look good though.

BTW, the Indy figures has a inferior 90's body. If a company like MC toys and the defunct Formative Int. can offer a super-articulated body, then why can't Hasbro? As an aside, I bought a Formative figure with a likeness of Indy, that is superior to Hasbro's in every way. But it won't fit Hasbro's 11 inch uniforms. Sigh……..I wonder if Hasbro does that so as you can't dress their uniforms on the competitor's body. These don't even cut it with the defunct 21st Century 12 inchers. They offered the most bang for the buck. I still have lots of them. Hasbro is offering re-cycled bodies, uniforms, and accessories and still asking for full price. They've made back their money multiple times re-cycling stuff. In fairness, MC toys reuses stuff too, but they price it cheaper. If Hasbro was a restaurant, they'd go out of business. |
