You guys realize there is a VERY easy way to write Ripcord out of the movie right? Dude was finally able to join the Air Force, BAM, there goes his obligations to GI Joe.

I'd like to see Rip Cord in it briefly, maybe reporting in to Duke via a video screen from another mission. If characters from the first movie just disappear I think you lose believability in the movie, especially Rip Cord who was one of the key characters of the first film.

I also think that the original team members from the first movie should make a cameo. Then reveal the team members for this mission/movie. I do agree that thios movie will make cash just based on the Rock. He will have the WWE helping promote this film with him on RAW talking about it. I just hope they do bring some old school into this one. No more black suits, I want a Resolute look to this one.

I think having the Rock is nothing but good news for GI Joe, but I also don't think it guarantees box office dominance. |

well of the original ARAH mini series my favorite was Revenge of Cobra. Duke was captured, Flint lead the team and Roadblock was a big time player.

The Rock is gonna bring in more people, definitely more than Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who was mainly known previously as Simon Adebisi on OZ.

Or an offhand chance of being remembered as the African politician/diplomat that Jason Bourne was supposed to kill in the first movie.... |

YES!!! The Rock and Sgt. Slaughter sharing the same frame would be amazingly iconic, for both Joe and WWE.
