I think Wave 10 is the first wave in this line that I am going to pass on buying the whole set. I'll just buy the figures individually. I only want the TF Duke, Croc Master and Mutt in this wave. When does BBTS usually start allowing pre-orders on the single individual figures?

This is total crap, why a price hike??? 7.99 is way too high for these. Heck that was too high for sw figures back in the day. I guess we will see an increase on the comic packs as well.

$7.99 really isn't that bad considering Star Wars toys have been that price for quite some time (I know kickback goes to Lucas).
Plus, Meijer stores have charged $7.99 for Joes since the 25th line launched, so for those with a Meijer near by, "you" are kind of used to paying that. I don't believe the price on singled carded figures will raise any higher than the $7.99 price point. I can't agree more with everyone's feelings though: Every little penny counts, so this increase with gas prices will surely curb my collecting practices. |

we as americans are so spoiled. i'm sure the 3rd world people assembling these would love to spend a weeks pay for one of these figs. i am not rich by any means, but i manage to get everything i need because i prioritize. i don't eat out, don't go to movies, rarely go to bars, or buy fancy cars etc. not to say i don't live a little, i just live within my means. i live like a pauper, but i buy joes like a king. one thing that helps, is i don't have kids, so it's different for me. if you guys feel like you can't afford them, that does suck, i wish it were different. however, what u leave behind will be bought by me .

Remember back in February Wal-Mart raised their price above the 5.99 retail price to 6.84 This sucks if it happens again. I saw a thread with someone saying their WM had a price hike too. If both Target and Wal-Mart raise prices again that is bullshit. Anyone ever notice that Target and Wal-Mart never raised their price on the comic packs seems kind of funny that single card figures have raised in price a few times now, but comic packs stay the same.

I'm sure they will but it's nothing uncommon with them. They always had a higher mark up then retail, but with E-tailers like bbts you can buy a case which usually cost the same or a little bit more(depending on sales tax) than brick and motar. I won't bore with the details of equating gas and time blah blah. For me it will be more worth while to order it online.

it's always been worthwhile to order online, it's just insurance that you going to get one (tru aside). people just don't like to wait or pay up front for them all.
