Well reading that makes me even more excited about this movie. Lots of cool villains! Yes! Please give us a more traditional looking zartan. Please! Oh, and scarlet better be in this movie.

Awesome! And no rubber muscles please. I mean come on...Give him the night ops soldier look. Black BDU's and a black balaclava with some high tech goggles or something. Commando Snake Eyes FTW!
Oh yeah and...MAKE IT EPIC!

SPOILERS:
Snake Eyes won't have lips. But I think you guessed that already! In answer to a couple questions... I had a ton of G.I. Joe toys in the eighties. Collected just about everything at that time. I also read the comic books. Favorite single issue was definitely Silent Interlude. To be honest, I didn't re-read the comics as we approached the movie. Definitely brushed up, research-wise, but didn't want to be influenced too much by old story-lines. There's a fine line doing movies like these... you have to be reverent of the lore, but not prisoner to it. Our hope is to find the perfect balance. With luck, our G.I. Joe script will stay under wraps. We weren't so lucky with our Deadpool script. Some of you may have gotten your hands on that one... This might amuse you. Some of the very first movies I ever made were with my G.I. Joes. I tried doing stop-motion with a video camera - does NOT WORK obviously. Then basically made a G.I. Joe movie like a slide show. Would pose the figures. Say a couple lines of dialogue. Then repose them. Etc. Hilarious. I'll have to dust those off someday! Maybe for the DVD extras? You're going to be getting a lot of variety in this upcoming movie. Lots of characters, new and old, settings, vehicles, etc. My favorite thing to write is a good villain... kind of ironic since Zombieland didn't have one. G.I. Joe is chock full of cool ready-made villains... so writing the Cobra side of the story has been pure joy! It's funny you mention stop motion movies... I have a collection GI Joe and Spiderman movies I made as a kid. Hahaha! Looking back, they were pretty terrible, but I had a ton of fun making them.

This is great news...
I just hope that Muggum isn't Stephen Sommers in disguise...filling us with hope, fueling our imaginations, and allowing us to dream, just to be a cruel bastard for all the flaming of RoC... |

I cannot honestly believe anyone who made the first movie thought the look with the lips looked good. This hopefully was the first change made when they started work on the sequel.
