Commander looks alright. And I don't know what it is, but Troopers never look good in 12" size. The art just never translates into actual cloth, and I don't know why.

To bad Stephen Sommers and Paramount didn't have the same sensibility and respect for the G.I. Joe characters that the Sideshow designers and staff have. They really tried to stay as true to the Joe universe as possible. I was impressed by their comments in the video.

Looks okay, but I'm not interested in extending my GI Joe collecting beyond 3 3/4 figures.
With my anticipation for some great movie stuff at an all time high (deluded idiot that I apparently am), Sideshow just took a walk off my financial map.

Meh, not really liking what I'm seeing so far. I preordered Snake Eyes, but if I don't end up getting more I'll probably cancel it.

I have never really cared for the 12" figures that Hasbro put out,but I really like these Sideshow figures. I have my order in for SE and will likely order the others. These are like the Masterpiece line for Joes, and that rocks! I can only hope that at over $100.00 a pop for each fig that they only release 1 or 2 a year. I am spending enough with Hasbro as it is already LOL. I also like that they are incorperating the fantasy elements along with modern real world gear, shows they are really trying to please everyone!

I like the look. And for those who don't like the trench coat, well it's a 12" figure, you can just take it off.
