I am fairly certain that this is from around 01 or 02.
1. There was a lot of talk of Hasbro considering other scales and lines in the early 00s, including an unleashed line similar to the Star Wars one. 2. In the 90s, they did do 2ups. If this had a 2-up done of it before becoming this size, I would expect a little more texture or detail. If it is the 2-up, that means that it is a plan for a pretty small Joe line. 3. In all the talk of the changes around 1995, there were some characters considered to be put in the Extreme line (even Snake Eyes). But the design doesn't look like G.I.Joe Extreme. And I have never heard of any line around that time making it this far. 4. The last time this sold, there was no indication that it came from the 90s. It sold with items from all eras. 5. The style is somewhat similar to the G.I.Joe reloaded CC with the coat. |

WTF??
That looks really cool, despite being 6" (which i won't collect). Why the heck this design hasn't been used? We got a lot of CCs, and this one is probably the coolest looking so far! It would fit great on PoC. Maybe he got tired of all the bitching and stuckupassness? .

There where a lot of negativity to the point i almost left a couple days later. At some point i kinda get accustomed (started doing friends, luckily some of the coolest guys around), but in time it's just tiring. Lately is not just bitching, it's just bitching because. I can understand bitching about some figure feature, i clearly remember Airborne's release, there was a lot of praise and lot of hate because the vest. But when it's just "that's crap" without any real base, or "GI Joe it's a joke, it sucks, i hate everything"...well, it's no fun. There's no arguing just hate. Annoying and boring. To be honest at first i was kinda bummed to read "Gyre is awesome" or "Gyre is great", "Gyre make me a son" every two posts. Then things cooled down, and i actually crossed some words with him and he was a cool guy. As usual lately, some asshole thought somehow it had rights about what Gyre could do with his figures, and started bitching about the pictures he took. As usual, the usual whinners followed. Not as usual, Gyre got pissed off and replied. So iguess the logical move would be to leave. Lately, i've thinking on it too. .

Some folks looking through rose-colored glasses of the past. Even using 80's character that six inch junk that would've been at close-out stores as much as Extreme was.
GI JOE has two succesful scales 12" and 3 3/4". See much demand for Sgt Savage or Sigma Six anymore. Nobody wanted that crap. Super Joe, even those old ass GI JOE doll collectors don't want that junk. Quote:
