That thing is weird and I question it's true origin.
If that was to be a 6" toy from the early 90's, GIJoe would've easily taken back it's title from them damn Turtles.

Definitely not a 2-up. First off, 2-ups are much taller than six inches. Also, this is late 90's stuff and by then, Hasbro had moved away from the 2-up process of production and were working in 1:1 scale.

That figure is crazy cool!! I think they should have went with this route more than the rather playful designs of Extreme.

Some folks looking through rose-colored glasses of the past. Even using 80's character that six inch junk that would've been at close-out stores as much as Extreme was.
GI JOE has two succesful scales 12" and 3 3/4". See much demand for Sgt Savage or Sigma Six anymore. Nobody wanted that crap. Super Joe, even those old ass GI JOE doll collectors don't want that junk. |
