i agree that these are gonna be super hard to come by. not only are these gonna be snatched up by collectors but for that price they have a general appeal to anyone who might of had it in the 80's and kids as well. I preordered 2. It came out to be $81 and some change. which is only 6 dollars more then what 2 would be in the store after tax. Hopefully I can find 4 more in the store around the holidays but i am not counting on it.

If it where an eject two seater with parachutes the going price would have been closer to what you have mentioned. However, Hasbro had to cut corners so to wheel in parents that would like to buy these items but can't afford the larger scaled vehicles due to the price.

I was surprised at the price. I mean recently the prices have been ridiculous, 50 bucks for the rhino, 40 for the night raven, weren't the bravos 25 to begin with? Even now, the small ice cutter is like 17.

does anyone know if the fang III has screws? that will be pretty much the main factor on me buying em or not, i'm not thrilled with screws and mechanisms, or certain type of plastic.. like the mantis sub sucked cus of the screws plastic and mechanisms.. i got the new vamp from krisk, and the plastic was straight, but i seen screws, and it made my pee pee soft.. but it actually ain't that bad of a toy..

I ordered 2 from Smalljoes because I still have concerns about retail availability of GIJoe stuff in the future. If they show up at retail, I will still get at least 1 more. By the way, Smalljoes shipping rate on these is great. The quoted price I got was less than $6 per plane. |
