does that even really work? i have a hard time believing that even if they were hidden, they would be gone by the time someone returns for them. not that i would do that, buy them now or let them go is my mo.

I like to follow people who are hiding stuff and then take their hidden goods back to the rightful location in the store. As the great Walter Sobchak said in The Big Lebowski: "Am I the only one here who gives a s*** about the rules?!?"
Seriously, though: Now we're hiding stuff on other shelves so other people don't buy it first? That worked when I was eight years old but I imagine it would look pretty silly now that I'm almost thirty... That's the beautiful thing about being a gainfully employed adult with a debit card, cash, and credit card: I'm always fully prepared to just take my store purchases right to the registers for my customary strange looks and inevitable questions about why I'm buying G.I. Joe toys... ;-)

But hiding stuff...who empowered you to decide who has access to toys you don't own? Nobody.

Wow, I actually wanted to join this site and post intelligent topics, and have civilized conversations about my hobby, but after reading these topics that go un-touched by the MODs (are there any Mods here?) with the constant bitching, complaining, crying and just bad behavior this place seems more and more like a place for whiny little noobs with nothing better to do. For those of you who dont add to this nonsense, thank you. To all the others (including people who "dont trust people" to the "if I dont have it first and you do, youre a scalper" to the other babies, grow up or MOVE ON.
It seems that the mods here just do not care, and let these morons continue to post and ruin topics, start flame wars, and complain every chance they get. This place needs to get with the times, as Im sure Im not alone in my feelings. The ONLY reason I come here is to check the sightings thread, but after all this BS Im not sure Ill even to that anymore. C-ya |
