Pulled from page SEVEN so that blows your theory outta the water there........
OK folks Lody here to save thee day. From the OFFICIAL GI JOE Club Magazine, which I just happen to be a member of: Starting later this year (time TBD), two figures will be released every month for 6 months. 12 total figures on single figure cards. Starting approximately 8-12 weeks before the first figure ships to the club, they will begin accepting subscriptions for the service for a period of 2-4 weeks. Once the subscription deadline has gone by, you are SOL (I added that) and no more subscriptions will be added to the run. These figures are all GI Joe Collector's Club exclusives and will not be available at retail in any store. They will be the characters many fans thought they wouldd never see in the 25th line and they will include some cancelled (retail) figures along with some new imaginings. They will be billing your credit card on file for your figure subscription. They have not decided how many billings there will be (probably three or six). Provided that all your billings go through, with your final shipment they will send you a FREE carded 13th figure. They are happy to announce that the first month's figures will be Quarrel and Nano Bat. They don't have the entire program worked out yet, but all the figures WILL BE 25th Anniversary style. You WILL be able to purchase more than one subscription (go scalpers!). The quantity manufactured will be based on the number of subscriptions, plus a limited additional amount to cover sales of single pieces (through the GI JOE Collector's Club store). The prices will be in the ballpark of the carded Dial-tone, but we don't have final costs yet and we are trying to to keep the prices as low as we can for these very limited runs. We won't know the prices until we get the costing on all the figures back from China. The cost for one single piece will be significantly higher than the subsciption price. You must be an Officer's Level Member of the GI Joe Collector's Club to subscribe, and the figure subscription service is SEPERATE from your membership. More details to follow. DO NOT CALL THE CLUB ASKING QUESTIONS. Information will be released as it becomes known. This is all we know for now. |

I am honored But seriously-this is good info to have as a lot of people are on the fence because of carded vs non carded and what figures we are going to actually see. I am just giving you a hard time: 1. Because I can 2. You're an Orioles fan |

I think it's funny that Lody is giving someone a hard time about posting something that had already been posted, when Lody was the first one to do that exact same thing!

I want Voltar.
Just sayin'. And I want this to succeed. It seems the best way to make 25th/Modern versions of classic characters that wouldn't work very well as part of POC. Like Voltar. Did I mention Voltar? Just checking.

Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P. |
