I don't know. I wouldn't call bad dialogue execution unless the lines were delivered poorly. However, there were alot of actors who managed to rise above the dialogue in parts. The delivery of the dialogue would be the execution to me. The fact that it sucked, and I can recognize that the only reason I didn't roll my eyes or laugh out loud is because of the hard work of the actor, I would call bad writing.
reciting the dialogue poorly isn't bad dialogue, it is bad acting and execution of reciting the dialogue. both are an execution but of different elements -- writing and acting. the dialogue had good ideas in it, it was just written, or executed, poorly. |

bad dialogue means poorly written dialogue. that is the quality of the dialogue, which can only mean the execution of the act of writing dialogue.

In the end, Who do you even blame it on? There were several writers, likely why you can see a marked difference in the quality of the dialogue characters were given in different scenes. You can't say that the writer didn't know how to write this or that character, because at different parts of the movie, all the characters had solid lines. However, in certain scenes, characters who were otherwise provided solid dialogue, were given ridiculous things to say.
