#0 rocks.
The CC Special was kind of disappointed. The only NEW material was some quick paragraphs from different characters on what the death of CC meant to them. There's a reprint of Cobra #12 and then 3 old Marvel ARAH issues. Kind of weird to have the ARAH with the IDW since it's not the same character. #0 is worth it though.

looks good. I would really like to get on-board with the new Joe. but after the initial launch I just got too lost on what series was what. I tried following with the TPBs but still can't keep track with all the IDW Joe stuff out there. I know it's old fashioned but I sure wouldn't mind just one on-going, easily numbered joe series.

I think Cobra will have the most promise, followed by Snake Eyes, and GI Joe. Dixon IMHO, is better suited to Snake Eyes than the GI Joe book. |

I don't like the new comics, but I admit my curiosity - who are the candidates to be the Commander? I've seen images of Bludd, Storm Shadow and some others holding the mask... but who else is in the running?

Please stop talking. The amount of insider information that you have is exactly zero.
Know how I know this? Because you posted a declassified flyer which was meant for fun as a NEWS ITEM. No one would ever tell you anything because the VERY FIRST THING you would do is post it here. Probably incorrectly. |

From what IDW mentioned during their virtual press conference back in January, they're aware that fans might be cutting back on buying books. So when they relaunch their GI Joe titles in May, you don't necessarily have to buy each of the 3 Joe books to know what's going on. You can get all 3 each month to get the complete picture, but to just get a gist of what's going on in the Civil War, you can stick with one book.
I think Cobra will have the most promise, followed by Snake Eyes, and GI Joe. Dixon IMHO, is better suited to Snake Eyes than the GI Joe book. Oh well :( I guess trying to get 1 person to buy 9 of the same comic works better than trying to get 9 people to buy 1 comic. |

But it's been said that Destro and Serpentor are not actual candidates. Serpentor will be manipulating things around him. Odi is Storm Shadow's handler. Khallikhan is the new villian that will be appearing in the new SE ongoing. Not the #0 issue. But he'll be showing up in some of the titles probably.
