"As some of you may know, Lego has shied away from making military themed construction sets. "
Then they shouldn't make Star Wars! I wouldn't mind seeing some Joes done in Lego format, but they probably won't look as good as the guys that customize them! |

I would buy a lot of these sets if they where made. Army building a mini Cobra army.

I hope if jets are made, they will have retractable landing gear. It's a pet peeve of mine on Lego aircraft, some of them have swappable/detachable gear, only a few have retractable(usually sets from the creator line). Also I'd love to see the Resolute HISS in this line.

I've got to agree that GI Joe is the only other line right now that seems to fit in with the toy concept. Lego has Star Wars and with a new Lego Star Wars game coming out they aren't giving that up. Marvel has Minimates even if they aren't as cool as Lego. So that just leaves GI Joe and Cobra.
From the Transformers stuff they have shown so far the mini figures look pretty cool so I've got high hopes for any sets put out for GI Joe. Although I've heard you have to buy the whole set because they aren't releasing the mini figure by itself. |

I also think it odd that a company that doesn't do war toys has property with wars in the name.
Then makes a ninja themed line, then an Indiana Jones knock off line. I would definately get one of these just for the figure more than likely if it's Kre-O. But if these are going to be Mega Bloks I would get them all. |

I hope they actually do make GI Joe Kre-O's. Hasbro will finally be able to take advantage of the GI Joe/Transformers crossover that so many people have been clamoring for.
The mini figs should be (somewhat) in scale with the actual buildable designs. |
