This is just what I would like to see as the starting point for GI JOE 2.
Premise: President Zartan has de-activated GI-Joe team alpha and all known operatives. Shortly there after most are arrested for various operations they had done in the past and had been previously exonerated for. Only Snake Eyes remains at large. While this is happening General Hawk is able to contact General Colton and has him enact secondary GI-Joe operations protocols in an abandon base in Nevada (The Rock circa DDP era). Team Bravo is the only set of operators to escape the shut down as they were under going a deep cover operation in South America at the time. Once the Rock is up and running General Colton is able to contact Team Bravo and pull them back to the U.S. to begin Operations to free the team Alpha and the other Joes, as well as uncover why they were shut down. Also Snake Eyes is off the grid but remains in contact with General Colton. Queue Start of GI Joe 2. Team Bravo Commanding Officer : GI-Joe O-10 General Joseph Colton Field Commander: Flint CW-5 Dashiell Faireborn Team: Beach-Head (Ranger) E-6 Wayne Sneeden Stalker (Ranger) E-7 Lonzo Wilkinson Rock-N-Roll (Heavy Weapons) E-6 Craig McConnel Lady Jaye (Covert Operations) E-5 Alison Hart-Burnett Spirit (Tracker) E-5 Charlie Iron-Knife Low-Light (Sniper) E-6 Cooper MacBride Just an idea. Allows for a second team but does not remove the first team from being in the movie.

You know, this would be a good story line. Any thoughts on how Destro and CC are going to escape? I guess if the Joes are de-activated, then perhaps it would be easier for a Cobra mercenary, say Firefly, to break in and get them out.
Any thoughts on the Baroness and where that story might go? I actually liked RoC pretty well, and I hope they continue to work up a good story. I think it still has a lot of potential.

Not bad, not bad. But I know they have to include Dr. Mindbender in there somewhere so he can explain what he meant by, "I'll show you everything." Obviously there was a lot more than just nanomites. Plus, I think the Crimson Twins should be funding Cobra since Destro was Mars.

If they cast Sam Elliot as Wild Bill and Morgan Freeman as an older Doc similar to Doc's character in Resolute I would forgive them for Tatum.
