I didn't like G.I.Joe Rise of Cobra but I'm gonna admit something to must of will not like to admit. We are lucky we even got a Joe movie for god sake G.I.Joe will always be cheesy and freaking corny the name itself screams it. I don't know a single person who is not a Joe fan that think GI Joe was not stupid. Awesome toys? No doubt Yes. Dumb cartoons? Incredibly yes.
Now before I get bombarded how great the comic book was when it started which in a huge part I agree since I thought it was a classic example of good storytelling and character development it also went downhill when it got all wacky with Ninjas all over the place and everyone and their mother was related to Snake Eyes. So you know I didn't like the movie but I'm glad some people did. Most common people also did. That was matters in the end because this is how GI Joe will and have survive over the years. So bring a second cheesy movie because as long as it makes money which it has we are going to get new toys. My 2 cents. |

Hey, back in the day Willow kicked ass! Val Kilmer got the whole "Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass" thing down pat, and Warwick Davis is always fun.
And then there's Frajeen and Rool (whose names I didn't need to look up). Edit: I thought Lucas directed it, but it turns out it was Ron Howard. No wonder I like it better than the prequels. >.> |

I read the first one. That seriously put the nail in the coffin of Claremont's writing career for me. Such a fall from grace for a man who once defined the X-Men.

I think it was. Mr. 2 posts in 6 months had a messy in his panties and figured he'd take it out on you.
On a "hopefully" happy note, you manage to get that TV tuned?

I have been given several different directions on where to go with this. The first was I was told to put the movie back on and then pause it at the scene it goes dark and then play around with the settings. See if that helps Next stop is to call Sony. Following that-may get one of those tuner DVD's a few people mentioned. |
