Just found this video over at Best Buy's website it's a pretty cool history of G.I. Joe it discusses the toys, animation, RoC movie, etc.
Here's the link: G.I. Joe - BestBuy There are some other features on their site also, for example a RoC synopsis, RoC stills, and two RoC movie trailers, but the "The G.I. Joe Phenomenon" is worth watching Edit: When the page opens click on "The G.I. Joe Phenomenon" title under the RoC DVD cover picture to get it to play. The video clocks in at around 15 minutes and is a must watch. |

Cool video, I saw it earlier and was like I'll check that out later. But I just watched and it's really cool and had some good info about the cartoon. And was the Flagg really $100 when it came out? I remember that I nver got one because they cost so much but I didn't remember them being that high. If they brung the Flagg back out today it would probaly be something like a TRU exclusive that would cost6 so much that it would be nothing more than an adult collectable.

Amazing video. Is this video part of the ROC DVD? I love this type of documentary. Seeing the actual people behind the cartoon was amazing, all the men and women who worked on it brought much joy to a whole generation of kids. All the constraints they had to work against really brings things into perspective.
Must view material for any GI Joe fan. |

I couldn't agree more
Quote:
I hope it's on the DVD it seems like it will be since the link is mixed in with a bunch of other RoC features. |
