Michael Bay almost vetoed G.I. Joe tease in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Over a long enough timeline, canon gets convoluted. As a fan, I find it best to accept what I want and ignore what I don't. Everything doesn't have to be for me, and what is for me doesn't have to be for everybody else. The day I accepted that was the day this kind of thing stopped being negative for me. I enjoy all this so much more since then. Timothy Zahn still wrote my Star Wars sequel.

It's kinda like when a movie has a vague ending. Some people get mad that the resolution isn't there. I think cool, I have the power to make the story however I want it to be. Sometimes you can passively enjoy a story, and sometimes you can be active in the outcome. The cool thing is you will never be wrong.

It didn't really add anything to the movie, and they seem wishy washy about what they're doing next.
