Steve Jablonsky's film scores were good too. One of his best pieces can be found on the Tears of the Sun film score (where most of the team get KIA).

The soundtrack refers to the songs used in the movie, of which Transformers '86 was full-of, particularly in the heavy-metal genre. However, since you mentioned the score... that was courtesy of Rocky IV's Vince DiCola.

Thanks, I do know the difference. I felt the score for the live actions were stronger but '80s music is a genre unto itself and that often included scores.
