It's over 180 million now; Then it's made its production budget back. Throw in DVD sales, and whatever it makes now to the end of the month and then in 2nd run theaters where a LOT more people can afford to see it...it'll make it's marketing budget back too plus profit.

It's not GI-Joe that I hate, it's the producers and director for making a bad movie. GI-Joe deserves better.

where is this magical 150 million marketing budget for this film? I just don't see that much being spent. Are these facts, where did this number come from. The movie will definitely pass 175,000,000. with it being at 100,000,000 already.

wanting the film to fail is silly. its an ok movie. i liked it. but hasbro and paramount can't be happy. overseas money is the icing not the cake. im glad the film isn't doing well in the united states. its pathetic when transformers has 100% more usa flags than a gi joe movie. we reap what we sow.

Wow, since this thread started, ROC has earned another $3,000,000 domestically!
If the 'failure' of the film affected the production of a second instalment of RESOLUTE, those celebrating would suddenly change their tune.

you haven't seen any commercials?
i think when it's all said and done, the movie will make a small profit, but hasbro will make a killing on the merchandising. |
