If a G.I. Joe: ARAH movie was made in the 70's

I know A Real American Hero was made in the 80's, but I just had an idea who'd be who if a G.I. Joe movie was made in the early 70's. Don't take this too seriously, I was simply bored.

The Joes:
-Duke: Steve McQueen
-Flint: Clint Eastwood
-Snake-Eyes: Bruce Lee
-Gung-Ho: A Bald with mustache Arnold Schwarzenegger
-Shipwreck: Chuck Norris

Cobra:
-Cobra Commander: Any of the guys who played Blofeld
-Destro: Sean Connery
-Storm Shadow: David Carradine
-Major Bludd: Sylvester Stallone

This reminds me of an idea I had: Casting a fantasy GIJOE film with Golden Age of Hollywood actors and actresses:

I picked Vivien Leigh for the Baroness.

Hey man, to each their own and all, but I gotta ask..why the HELL would you have Storm Shadow be David Carradine? Especially when Bruce Lee would have been "visible" Jackie Chan was a young up and commer and Sonny Chiba was at "Street Fighter" status.....I dunno, just struck me odd.


Anyway, cool thread.

Here are a few of mine:

Duke: McQueen is a good call!
Flint: Harrison Ford
Snake Eyes: A masked Chuck Norris
Gung Ho- Burt Reynolds (back in the 70's...check out Gator!)
Shipwreck- Charles Bronson

Cobra Commander: Really anyone
Destro: Telly Savalis
Storm Shadow: Bruce Lee with Sonny Chiba a close second.
Major Bludd: Robert Shaw
