I have this to say.....
In the beginning I was a ROC hater. I put down the movie said the figures sucked and I wouldn't buy them or support the line...blah, blah, blah. Now after seeing them in person and getting glimpses of upcoming releases I'm singing a different tune. Sure there are some clunkers in the bunch but there are so many cool things coming out that it's actually exciting. I grew up on the ARAH and loved the 25th stuff (again, some clunkers but still cool) but I view it as a celebration which is all it was intended to be. We got vintage figures for almost two years....much longer then originally planned. I'm happy with what it was and what we got. I'm happy for the first time in 17 years to have so much Joe product on the shelf that I can't buy it all. Happy times....

I've been a huge Transformers collector for a few years but never got that into new Joes, although I still have about 90% of the old figures I had as a kid. Now, I'm getting them back out and I'm collecting this new stuff and loving it. |

I see nothing wrong with having passion on something you love! Why bash someone else's love and thoughts for ARAH?! I love ARAH too- however with that said I am giving RoC a chance. But we need to stop tearing someone a new one for their passions- if you don't like these kinds of threads- don't read them and certainly don't respond to them.

No one's tearing him a new one for his passion. We all love ARAH around here (or most of us anyways). We're just making fun of him for the narrow minded view that because RoC exists, it means that ARAH has been erased.
That's just ridiculous.

I agree with that statement. Also for the record..I smell something..smells like...dead horse.
RoC killed ARAH! RoC keeps the gas prices too high! RoC cost the Arizona Cardinals a Super Bowl win! RoC helps the spread of STD's! RoC will soon make HD and BluRay obsolete!! It is ENOUGH with RoC...Rise Of Cobra is where G.I. Joe is at right now, get over it!! F*ck! RoC isnt gonna break in your house, burn your comics and break your vintage stuff! Plus we JUST GOT 25th 7 packs...BE HAPPY! |

This topic is stupid. That's all I'm going to say about it.

I agree with CIAD, it is just another version, not less valid, but not any higher than the others.

What's this "Real American Hero" everybody keeps talking about?
Wait...oh my god! The OP is right! Memory....fading. Childhood...disappearing. Got to...hang on. Someone, anyone, tell my story. What a stupid thread. |
