My stores aren't stocked yet, but I had never seen one single kid ever show any interest in the 25th/ME Joes at any of the stores when I'd go in. Doesn't mean there wasn't any, just that it wasn't that noticable. No one, not even me, has said anything about success or failure, all that's been said is that there is once again interest in G.I. Joe by kids. And considering the movie hasn't come out yet to generate that interest, that all they've had to go on is TV trailers and packaging, it's a good indication that kids are getting interested in the line. So yeah, if I see one kid showing interest in RoC when the shelves get stocked this weekend, then I consider that an accomplishment considering there was 0 interest previously. The whole point is that kids are getting interested in G.I. Joe again from what's been said on just the 'Tank. So that's an accomplishment and considering that's the whole point of RoC, that's a good indication they're off to a good start. Really, is it that hard a concept to get?

I haven't seen any kids buying, in fact I went to my Target, and the pegs were as full as they were after I bought my 2 figures 3 days ago. They may have sold one gunship, but then again it may have been in the go-back cart with the Ferrett.

Way to miss the point, yet again.

Of course there's more collector's then kids. But you're missing the point. The point is that there is interest being shown by kids again.

Well when i was at target the other day I seen a little boy ask his farther what are these (pointing at the end caps of joes) the father said those are Gi Joes. The kid went other to the self and pick one out, I think it was snake-eye but i was to far away to tell, could have been ripcord of all I know. Anyway that put a smile on my face. Another kid was cry like a little brat for one. His mom didn't get it for him, which I give props the mom for that one. I have mix feeling for that as I thought it was atleast good he want a joe that bad.
I wish I had seen that much interest in Joes while the @5th line was up and running I seen more kids interested in the ROC line in the past few days than i ever saw during the entire run of the 25ths

And why not? There's proof that there's interest being shown by the kids. There was 0 interest by kids in the 25th/ME line.
Indications that the goal is being met. Like I said in another post here, if the RoC figures attract the interest of a kid in my neck of the woods, that's an accomplishment considered there had never been any interest previous. That's all this thread was meant for, to show some excitement by the die-hards that there's growing interest by the new generation in our favorite brand of toys.
