Ah got ya, yeah by reading the front page post I got the same impression that there were "greyshirts" in the movie.
But these are named Joes with a unifying color/theme. There may very well be a grey-patterned generic trooper that can be nicknamed "greyshirt" but haven't seen a generic figure yet. Suppose could say the "Crosshair" could be the generic "greyshirt" but I doubt it since he has a different tact. vest and we've seen pick of him with a bonnie hat.

The movie likenesses/head sculpts are brutal on most of the movie hero characters so I'm still having a hard time getting excited for this line. But I like some of the repaints and off-camera stuff. Airborne is cool, even as a repaint, and I'll most likely pick him up since I don't have the 25th style version yet.

i figure that because i think i may not be understanding what we have here...
im reading "greyshirts" and im reading that they are akin to "greenshrits". are these supposed to be "cadets"? or are these established characters in a standard uniform? i read it to be cadets....but i was rushing to get out of the house this morning. reading it as cadets....my thought was that for greenshirts, there were subtle changes, like hair color, and here for greyshirts, no changes. but now that i am reading it, afforded more time, i now see that its uniformed characters. so far im liking most of the movie figures. escpecially, to be honest, the characters that are being done in movie style...barbecue, firefly, deep six, shipwreck. i see myself getting more of those than actual movie characters. |

I love how the Joes do have a unified look, but each has an idividuality to them at the same time.

While the figures are cool, I'm more interested in the floor and concrete slabs you used for the photos LOL. Mind sharing what they are/where they came from? Those are the kinds of items that I'm always on the lookout for in my customizing and diorama building.
