Don't be, it's just a movie. Besides, he'd have to work really hard to write something worse than the last one.

If it makes you feel any better, he apparently wrote a script good enough to cause a bidding war over the rights (Section 6, a tale about the founding of MI6, IIRC), so it sounds like he may have some talent.

Joe 3 will come and go. It's not Hasbro's joe, so what it does essentially doesn't matter. Hasbro will want to sweep it all under the rug to move on to their new vision of joe. If the film sucks, it won't be anything we've never faced before.

Joe's future depends on what Hasbro is about to do.
