I ask that because I'm wondering how many people are actually in the theater with you. Is it crowded? Is it half and half? Are you the only ones?

Well on a Wednesday night in late March there were about 20 people in the theatre. I think the real results will come from crowd sizes on Friday.

Do not judge Retaliation by the attendance yesterday and today (and even tomorrow). Not many people realized it opened early.
And really, attendance has nothing to do with going in the right direction. The attendance will relate to if Hasbro continues in the Retaliation direction. But is it the right one? That's subjective. I think it is. It's not the ARAH Joe. I don't think it was as close to the comics as others, felt more like an episode of Sunbow, but it is a good direction to take Joe in. There's alot to build off of (for new comics, new cartoon, new toys) and hopefully the characters appeal to the kids and the brand grows. I like it and hope Hasbro does continue in this direction. The brand really needs to find a direction and stick with it for awhile. For the record, there were 2 people in the theatre tonight in my town (small town). Me and my girlfriend. I don't think it has any bearing on how well Retaliation will do. There were like 8 cars (literally) in the parking lot at the theatre.

And actually Troy, your post in the other thread about the movie inspired my question about the crown attendance. Since you did mention in the other thread that you and your girlfriend were the only ones in the theater. But I know time will tell, and we still do have time. |

My wife and I went Tuesday night and there was around 20 people in the theater. I am interested to see how it does by the end of the weekend and next weekend. It's a pretty good movie, imho. Hopefully word will spread and it will do well. Guess we will see.

There were about 10 people at my showing tonight 7pm. Yeah not many people knew of the early screenings.

Less than ten at mine but when I said I saw it early I had mountains of people lamenting they didn't sign up for the reward card I think that was a kicker.
