I heard that it's much more tolerable when you watch the extended version. I actually have it, but I think I have a pseudo PTSD when it comes to this movie. I just can't pull myself together enough to watch it. I still have an aversion to it. Maybe I'll give it a try after a few cocktails.

So after watching Retaliation (the extended cut) yesterday, my girlfriend and I decided to watch Rise of Cobra again tonight to see if we had a similar experience (see previous post) and it was the exact opposite. RoC seemed so much worse than what we both remembered and made Retaliation look incredible in comparison. The only positives in RoC were the Baroness and Scarlett. I thought they both looked great and played the parts well. The lack of accent for Baroness and terrible backstory was not Sienna Miller's fault so I don't hold that against her.

Meh, I promise to watch this movie whenever it gets to streaming on Paramount Prime.

Is it at least better then say....a Star Trek Nemesis ?

I saw it in theaters when it came out, I haven't seen it in full since. I remember enjoying it more than Rise of COBRA and thinking it was good at the time. Then again I was fifteen maybe I should watch the extended cut.

I own the dvd, so it?s probably an Ebay click away?

Obviously, it?s been a while since I saw the movie in theater, followed by the extended cut. It certainly flowed better.

Okay. I look for it. So closer to the Ultimate cut of Watchmen, not quite the Snyder cut of Justice League or Donner cut of Superman II. I'm still curious to see it so I'll look for it. Next time I'm at a Vintage Stock I'll check for it, and in the meantime, I'll browse online.
