So I read this article on Lords of Pain website
Why The Rock Hasn't Promoted WWE While Promoting GI Joe, Wrestling Couple Gets Engaged By Marc Middleton Mar 25, 2013 - 7:00:40 PM - There have been a lot of people upset about WWE Champion The Rock not promoting WWE or WrestleMania 29 during media appearances in the last week. The reason Rock didn't promote WWE is because the appearances were set up through the studio that produced GI Joe and that's all he was there to promote. Regarding GI Joe: Redemption, entertainment industry sources report that the movie needs a lot of promotion right now because they need a huge opening weekend to make any money. It is considered not a good film and the reason it was pushed back from 2012 to now is because they wanted to convert it to 3D to make it more appealing Read more at Why The Rock Hasn't Promoted WWE While Promoting GI Joe, Wrestling Couple Gets Engaged I will take this guys article with a grain of salt. 88% score on Rottentomatoes site is good news for me. |

I love the site for their uncanny ability to gather EVERY news blip in wrestling ASAP, BUT a lot of their opinions/scoops are totally wrong if they report it themselves. Read the reader comments. They're.... kinda dumb at times, the site and its writers, I mean. |

Wait...so does Sgt. Slaughter have a cameo in this or no? No one seems to be able to say for sure, as if he's not obvious when seen.

Well if that wasn't a thread-killing question, I don't know what is.

Whatever, I feel you "the person going to the movie" is the only critic you need. If you enjoy it then great or if you hate it then great. it all depends on the person.
There are plenty of critics that love some movies that i hate and visa versa. Unless you can find someone that has exactly the same intrests as you & likes the same movies you do. |

I mean at this point, making a movie that is better than ROC didn't seem like that much of a challenge. By this year, most of the trailers already made it seem like Retaliation virtually killed ROC. The way the summaries make it seem, you probably don't even need to watch ROC to understand what is going on in Retaliation. It seems as if Chu and co wanted to distance themselves from ROC. I hope the movie is good on its own not just as a GI Joe movie but as a movie in general. |

Odd Shin that you say they wanted to distance themselves from ROC when Chu himself loved the movie, I just hoping for the sake of hoping they bring back more of the original cast ESPECIALLY Quaid and Eccleston
