Hey guys, now that we have less than 2 weeks left before Retaliation hits, a friend and I have created a discussion video regarding our thoughts on both ROC and Retaliation and feelings towards the franchise and brand in general. So go forth tankers and enjoy!!!

I definitely think they're going to make sure the audience is very clued in on what happened, thankfully since apparently they just kill off the "goof troop" of joes like ripcord and scarlett (who was played by a robot) and british heavy duty no need to explain what any of them did. And good riddance to those guys lol

Wouldn't "last hope" and "final nail in the coffin" be the same thing?


But no, I don't think Retaliation is the last shot Joe has.

I think Retaliation will be the next to the last shot that a version of Joe recognizable to us has.

I think if Retaliation does good, we'll see a Retaliation-themed/centric cartoon come out (and maybe a comic series to go alongside IDW's current stuff) and a 3rd (and hopefully 4th, 5th, etc..) movie.

If Retaliation bombs, I don't think we'll see another movie, but we'll probably still see a cartoon series that is somewhat along the lines of what we're used to but changed for new audience.

They'll hope that cartoon series can revive the franchise.

If it doesn't, we'll see Joe go away for a couple of years and then come back in a form (think how different Extreme or Savage was from what we knew) that has nothing to do with us and what we like/want.

Last hope would mean that this movie could be a big turning point. Final nail in the coffin would mean that this movie would be the finishing blow to kill it off. Pretty different lol.

I couldnt get past the first 10 mins due of the bashing of ROC an I enjoyed it as a Joe movie cause its like watching a Live Action Cartoon episode, plus I am a little pissed that the regular cast didnt come back just so the can cater to the old school sect of Joe,

I enjoyed RoC. I'm dubious about Retaliation that Rocky and Bruce might hog the screen time.
