I could not think of a better actor to portray Colton other then
Gary Sinise. This guy has a ton of experience in military films and TV. He has a great personality and works well with other cast members. He brings experience to the set. Just add the beard! Last edited by foxtrot27; 08-29-2013 at 02:32 PM.. |

I agree with all that you said - but he it too reputable an actor. I don't think he would touch GI Joe with a 10 foot poll.

It's not like he's a regular Oscar contender. He's spent years working on a shitty police procedural on TV; I don't think G.I. Joe is that far out of the realm of possibility if he wants to collect a paycheck.

Yes and no. In the 90s, he won a Golden Globe and SAG award, as well as an Emmy nomination. He is on a tv show now (CSI:NY), and has been acting continuously for years. He is a steady actor that earns a nice paycheck but I don't see him taking jobs just for the work. He hasn't done a lot of movies lately, which may mean he is happy with his day job.

He gets $5 Million per year on CSI. He's not out doing Rent-A-Center ads to pay the bills...

GI JOE:Colton is an American icon. Gary will be; years from now. Mark my words. This guy is a real American. And that is what this movie needs.
