New G.I.Joe 2 Promo Poster Debuts At Licensing Expo Plus The Director Wants Your Input - GI Joe - ToyNewsI.com
We of course knew the second part, but I thought the first marketing image was worth noting

Wow, no kidding. I'm almost offended. They don't need to hit us over the head with it.

I'm cool with it. The best thing they could do is avoid putting Part 2 on any of their marketing material. Just pretend the last film never happened.
Oh, and also give Duke a fake studio address so he just sort of misses the shooting schedule.

Well number 1 was more number 2 than any sequel could be.

Yeah, I know. I just meant with Chu "soliciting" fan opinion and the screenwriter "discovering" the Tank, I'd say it's pretty clear they're trying to get the message out.

Oh god, could you imagine a GI Joe movie as influenced by the folks on the Tank?
The movie would star Firefly and Beach Head and focus heavily on Zarana and the Dreadnoks. It would be inspired (or more likely ripped off) by the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, We Were Soldiers, and Black Hawk Down, only it would be grown men and women in classic ARAH costumes and the plot would involve a weather dominator. Snake Eyes would still be a Ninja, but more focused on his commando-ness (whatever the fuck that means). Storm Shadow would be dead since his figures peg warm, there would be at least one womens locker room scene in the pit, and Destro would appear at least once in his vintage pimp daddy costume.
