Even though I have him, I wish I still had the very 1st joe I ever got, Storm Shadow v2. Too bad my grandma gave my joes away.

I have posted this story once before in a thread about "biggest regrets" but I feel that it works here too as well.
When I was younger I was hit by a car and I couldn't go outside and play for about 2 weeks or so. My parents decided to let me play indoors with some of the neighborhood kids. Now these kids weren't real friends of mine, just kids from the block. Well what a bad mistake that was because they made off with more than half of my Joes. The thieving little bastards, but hey that's what it's like living in NYC, no respect here. A few years later I did a favor for a college buddy of mine. I helped him move out of his mother's apartment. He ended up giving me a box of Joes for my time. These Joes made up for losing my collection as a child. I even got ones that I've never owned. The best part about these new recruits was that they were hardly ever played with. I still haven't replaced every Joe that I lost. I'm still missing a few favorites of mine like Back Blast and Stalker (arctic gear) amongst others. One Joe that I finally re-acquired this year was my name sake Scoop. I got a complete one off of Ebay for about $9 all together with shipping. |

Wow COBRACOLLECTOR that's really messed up and is much worse than anything I ever went through. I'm glad to hear that you have been turning your life around and things are for the better now. Good job getting back into Joes, but don't let them contol your life. It can become an addiction, so make sure your bills are paid off firstly...LOL
