Wow very quick with the replies, brilliant!!
I've just ordered the volume 1 of the Marvel reprints from Amazon for £7. Looking forward to getting into it. It's a shame about Resolute not being followed up as I thought it was excellent, thinking about getting the two 7 pack figure sets. Renegades hasn't hit the UK yet as far as I know so have had a look on YouTube. Thought the live action movie sucked though. thanks again everyone. |

Just an FYI to all of us I noticed that the Shout Factory website has all the individual box sets bundled together for $49.99. I think that's the cheapest I've seen for all the discs. Of course, it's not the footlocker, but I thought Walmart's $17.49 for each set was a good deal. This is even better.

Way to go with the Marvel TPBs; classic stuff. IDW came out with good stuff. I haven't found any iterations of GI Joe that I haven't liked. Sure, there's been things that I would change, but if it's GI Joe, I like it.
As a fan of Resolute, you may be happy to know there's boxed sets of the Joes and Cobras. Happy hunting 'cause there is no cure for GI Joe fever.

As far as the comics go, I'd recommend the trade paperbacks of the old Marvel G.I.Joe Special Missions. Books 1 through 3 are out now, and the fourth and final one is due out in July. Special Missions was overall even stronger than the regular Marvel comic, and has a slightly darker, grittier feel. Less supervillains is crazy outfits, and more of a soldier's story type deal. Most of these are one off stories, but there's at least one longer story arc that spans four issues. Great stuff, with a lot of sly political humor.
The new Cobra II series is very very strong, and also worth picking up. It's more of a spy thriller type thing than a straight action book, and it does a good job of reinventing some silly Cobra bad guys into believeable, interesting, and even sympathetic characters. If you read Cobra II, it will give you a good intro into the upcoming titles that will be coming out this spring. |

I'm going to order the whole set of TPB's in a few days. Just waiting for the first edition to arrive in the post.
Shin Densetsu I didn't know what a SkyStriker was until you mentioned it. Several google searches later and I want one, damn you haha!! I've read that Hasbro are re-releasing it this Autumn so I may hang on and get a minty new one then unless I can find one that hasn't been pawed too badly on fleabay. Thanks again for all your helps guys. |

The rest is up to you.
