25th, POC, Resolute...yes. ROC not so much, got a few of them. Not sure what that makes me? Just love me some Joes! Roc was not GI Joe to me. Just my opinion.

I buy what I like first...and if money is available I get anything else I can get my hands on...I'd like to think of myself as a completist as I hope to one day look at my collection and say, 'I'm good there is nothing more I want or need' but the reality of that is a little unreal.
Never the less I will try. |

Well, when I was a kid, I tried to get every fig and vehicle that came out that year. Didn't always succeed (USS Flagg! >_<), but I tried.
At some point, I quit collecting and eventually moved overseas. Unfortunately, 95% of my collection was inadvertently tossed out. Then 25th came along and I started collecting again, only this time I'm very picky about what I buy. If it doesn't fit in my very narrow vision of Joe, it sits on the shelf. |

I assume the original pollster meant, "Do you try to collect everything, not recognizing variations, ever sold in the US?"
If he or she meant anything else, the answer for anyone would have to be no. No one has everything ever sold worldwide (although I am aware of the lady who has come close), and very few, if any, have every variation, as some are still coming to light and others involved slight variations in the molds of large, rare vehicles (e.g., Defiant). If the pollster did mean the question I quoted above, then many are legitimately completists. But since 1) I see no reason to exclude international figures, 2) I have no interest in making large purchases just to own every slight variation of the same item, and 3) many vintage figures hold no interest for me at all due to inconsistent quality, I answered the original question in the negative. |

I don't understand the "cafeteria" part of it.
