A buddy of mine gave me a Steamroller figure today, it's in awesome shape except the fact the goober broke the oring and decided to super glue the damn thing together. It was free so there's no real loss, but I was wondering if anybody might have some advice about how I might go about getting this thing apart? The legs are glued to the crotch and that is glued to the torso. Someone told me to put it in a pan of hot water, but I have doubts and I don't want to ruin the figure. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hot water won't ruin the figure. If you use a boiling pot though, the edges might, so be careful.

If you prevent it from touching the bottom of the pan, you should be fine. I fix He-Man figures and accesories that way all the time.

Thanks for all the advice, I finally managed to get it all apart got the glue cleaned off and put back together, took a few hours but finally have a Steamroller in my collection. But to be honest, am not as impressed as I thought I'd be. Thanks again.

Yes Sir. He reminded me more of someone who would be showcased in a "Road Warrior" collection, not G.I.Joe. I still have nightmares about losing/finding/losing that knife. |

I'm sure that knife is long gone by now, I ended up giving him a leatherneck ap rifle.
