I don't think this author actually played, or watched joes.
What's he talking about in regards to the good guys flying a hawk shaped helicoptor that shot out smaller hawks? wtf? classic yale educated columnist trying to speak like the average guy and mucking it all up.

What I find amusing is basically all the characters have pretty strong fan-bases among collectors with the exception of Toolbooth.
Funny article though. |

You have to admit that Shipwreck was pretty much useless on the cartoon. I mean, his introduction was in a bar in a middle of the desert. A sailor. In the desert. In a Cobra bar mind you. And since he helped out Flint and Mutt in a bar fight, he was granted access to the most secure military force in the entire world.
It wasn't even until after most of us fans had lost interest in the toys and comics that they went and promoted him to Navy Seal. If I could suggest any more for that list, it would be: Scoop, Sneak Peek (seriously, he couldn't use a regular size telescope? Thank God satellites have made him redundant...along with him being dead), and Storm Shadow. Can you ever really trust a ninja assassin? |

The Tripwire fig they used for that countdown looks like it's in 25th packaging.
Just an observation.
