Just wanted to throw up a few pics of my costume this year and eldest boy's costume.
After 2 years of collecting dust (it was about 85% complete), I finally managed to rig my Stormtrooper armour up just hours before going out with the whole family. Apparently, Geekness is hereditary Last 2 photos are from 2006 and 2008. Post up your Halloween 2010 pics! |

I was more than surprised (and pleased to no end when surprisingly one of my two 5 year old twin boys told me he had decided he wanted to be Snake Eyes for Halloween this year. I was expecting Batman (again), or Ben Ten, or some other current "kid thing", as the two of them have show little interest in either the old ARAH cartoons we've watched, or even the Joe ROC movie. :(
Anywho, as we made it through the WM costume section a week or two ago he suddenly yelled out, "Daddy I want to be Snake Eyes!" Well, here he is in all of his glory, I was pretty surprised at how nice the costume actually was for $20 or so. Hood, visor, and once piece, padded body suit all came with it. We had to buy the swords extra, but that was ok. His brother wanted to be Bumble Bee (both the boys are bigger TF fans than they are Joe, but that's ok, again I was more than pleased to see Logan wanted to be SE Here's the two of them - . |

Love your son being SE. My 4 year old boy was Bumblebee. We did run into a kid tonight, probably 7 or 8 years old. I asked if he was a ninja, he said "yes". I then asked if he was Storm Shadow, he said "yes...how do you know that?" I told him I like GI Joe. He said "me, too" and my son said "me three."

How lucky for the both of you that your able to do this and have these photos! what an amazing experience, I hope he does not grow out of as he Gets older, yet maybe it will be something that even if he out grows dressing for halloween with his dad he will still have the love for... or do you or him not collect? have either of you made it to any cons? |

Yeah, it was pretty cool. We were originally going to go as two Jedi and one clone trooper, but it didn't pan out. :( Oh well, maybe next year.......... Thanks!
