I often see folks selling their toys with the description that it came from a smoke and pet free environment.
How does smoke or having pets actually damage toys? |

some people are horrendously allergic to pet hair so it may trigger asthma attacks,
and tar from cigarette smoke will discolour and even possible make the toy smell of stale smoke fumes (especially soft toys) |

It is mostly the odor factor, but nicotine can also leave stains on things after prolonged exposure. If you are really worried about it just do what I did and make your dog stop smoking. I put mine of the patch.

Because the pet dander and cigarette tar that just happened to get on that new wave of DCUC figures they picked up last weel @ their local Walmart to scalp on EBAY, will have prolonged exposure and it must be completely cleansed. furthalulz!

i know from playing in a band, that the cigarette smoke would stick to our equipment, and it would be hard to get rid of, so theres the odor issue, and god knows what a pet could do to it
