For example: first list "HAVES" and with them listed in descending order such as Vintage, then 25th/ME, and finally Non-Joe and after that list "WANTS" in the same order. This type of grouping would allow the reader to scroll through a list faster to get to the area they want to search. This helps the seller as well as the buyer. I also like the idea of the seller/trader putting at least their zip code to help the buyer/trader to figure an approximate shipping cost and transit time.

This is what I'm talking about. People don't use the available search tags, so I was wondering if people could put bracket tags in the post titles.
If they have all three, put all three bracket tags. It's a fairly simple old usenet trick that keeps things simple and easy to find/see. I'm going to do it for my thread. I sell/trade vintage and modern stuff most of the time. Quote:

if you don't have any modern...then don't use any search tags that would lead people to your thread if you don't have any gi joe...then don't have search tags that say you do i've seen bst threads that have only TF and SW and yet their search tags have ME, 25th, ARAH search tags should be used like the main ingredients listed for soup...if it's not in there don't say it is. I would really like to be able to search for one item at a time also, like someone else stated. I have had all good trades/sales/purchases so far on here, but there could be something done to make things a little easier.

If you use the advanced search feature and narrow it down to the item you want and highlight only the BST section it will limit the amount of finds significantly.
