I want it to stop. I like the character but he's a wasted slot when there are so many interesting characters that have yet to be made or done right.

SE Rocks! I am thinking that wave 3 SE will be my last one for awhile though, least until Renegades SE comes along. lol

So definately not a wasted slot in Hasbro's eyes.

Hahahah. You know, It's all just a matter of taste. There's nothing wrong with the later versions of SE, just not my bag. He seems done to death, though. Atleast in the visor/timber/ninja fashion. I'm looking forward to the Commando version of this figure as it's a way for me to get a piece of that childhood SE back, but with all the amazing modern advances in terms of accessories, and articulation. I can sympathize with Angry.Android on the customization issue. I could easily see building a whole team of commandos off this body. Actually...I may do just that.

I love the character and most of the figures. I'm just now starting my POC hunts and SE has been by far the easiest to find...and I passed.
Between money and room, I'm just much more particular to what I buy. The last SE I bought and enjoyed was City Strike. Having said that, the Wave 3 SE looks cool and I'll most likely purchase one. |

I think we're all still just a little sore about Thunder Road Snake Eyes.

I don't have a problem with repeated characters in general if they are at least interesting. Pursuit of Cobra is at least generating interesting product, however I believe they are somewhat into overkill on the use of Duke, Snake-Eyes, Destro, and Storm Shadow. I mean, it's these same four guys two and three times each! If the assortments were a little larger and/or Pursuit of Cobra was expected to run a bit longer then this might be less of a concern for me. I just hate to see the current design team, who is doing a great job on the details, keep reusing the same characters when so many other characters are meriting of updates as well.
I will be very sad and angry if POC ends and we get a year or more of anime GI JOE figures tied to that new cartoon. |

Some of us like this SE, bought two myself actually. I'm using one as a 'Super Trooper' type character with a Pit Commando head.

we don't have too many Snake-Eyes... we have too many sub par Snake-Eyes. I'm sort of taking the amazing "2011" Commando Snake-Eyes as an apology
for some of its predecessors. here's to hoping they churn out an SS to match.
