The multipack argument is also a little moot. Since 2007, the majority of SE figures have been single carded. From what I can tell, they haven't pegwarmed all that much. Someone is buying them. OB

I like him, he is my favorite character.
Of course, I own less than half of the ones made since 25th. There were some decent ones (the V2 from the 2nd GI Joe 5-pack, single carded V3, and nothing worth mentioning until City Strike/Rescue mission... and nothing after that until now). That being said, some of the alternate versions are simply useless. I wouldn't mind remakes of a character if they did something different and new. |

I love snake eyes, and i will probably buy 4 of this one if i can find it (2 of each variant, or 4 if the pack the head in as an extra). Maybe even more. The reason why, for me, is because snake eyes often has a bad ass commando body which can be used in customs for other things.

No.
I love SE. He is my favorite character, by far. My collection started as nothing but SE and then it went nuts. I will buy just about every version of SE, no matter what. Yep, I'm a huge dork, but I love being pandered to.

For me, SE isn't much of a priority. I mostly like the Commando look for SE, so this new fig sparks my interest. But I'm in no hurry to buy each variation of SE or SS for that matter.

Personally I am sick of SE - I have decided that the only SE in my Joe-verse is CSSE - and have refused to buy any of the POC variants (unless its for custom fodder).

For the record I never said I was tired of Snake Eyes.... but I am tired of Storm Shadow and I don't buy the really stupid versions of him.. like the last five of them, save the 25th one and the Jungle one which I bought for a custom.
However there are several versions of Snake Eyes I don't own and won't own, but this newest one is really bad ass.

I love Snakes. Sometimes I wish we weren't inundated with him, but that's retail. Still, he's a great character. Timber, too, bitches! |

I noticed this:
GI Joe 2011 Series 01 - Snake Eyes Version 08 - GI Joe 2010 GI Joe 3.75" Figures Preorder sold out. A lot of us (myself included) keep saying that we want new characters, that we have enough Dukes, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows. Yet, we keep buying them and so Hasbro keeps making them. As a community, it seems we are our own worst enemy. There seems to be a big gap between what we say and what we do. All the internet postings in the world won't matter if the figure still sells. If people stopped buying every single Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, Duke figure made, then they wouldn't get made anymore.
