What class of aircraft carrier is the flagg? Kittyhawk? Nimitz? or a combination of classes?

I think the official line is that it is a Nimitz class vessel.

The original FLAGG had a side cast deck, the innital design was that of the CVN-68(U.S.S. Nimitz) As due to the time of the Flagg's release.. the Nimitiz had just been filmed with Final Countdown. The tomcat was the Navy's main bird of prey..

Flagg is based off of a nucular class carrier, and Nimitiz was the paveway for the class, hence Nimitiz class. You could also consider the Flagg much to the effect of the U.S.S. Enterprise(CVN-65) [Though the Enterprise by history and name sake has been a flat top since props of world war two's pacific fleet.] is much older then the Nimitiz( not Chester the admiral in where her name is taken.)

Shipwreck pretty much covered it. The Nimitz class is the current class of aircraft carrier that first laid keel in 1975. And although the Enterprise was the one heralded as being the marvel for it's nuclear propulsion, the "Big E" was actually just a Kitty Hawk class keel with the addition of the new power plant.
