Hey tankers, I just recently started as a manager in a kmart store in Australia and wanted to know what the Kmart stores are like in other countries.
As a toy collector they are a great place to find discount figures and also household items. Some even had restaurants but I think they have all been fazed out of stores here. Generaly speaking Kmart here is mid range affordabilty wise, not the cheapest but not by far the most expensive in all areas of the store. So what is Kmart like where you are? |

Kmart used to be a good store to shop up until Walmart and Target started gaining a hold on the market. Now, at least for my area, Kmart is somewhat of a lesser store in that their selection is not as good and they are typically older and in more of the crappier shopping centers.
They failed to keep up with the changing market IMO. Whereas Target seemed to re-invent itself into a worthy competitor to Walmart. The way I see it, the rating of the three stores in terms of overall shopping experience would be Target, Walmart, then Kmart. |

CRAPHOLE..best descibes Kmart
not just another guy whinning about them not carrying PoC, but these stores are dirty, and out dated... i figured after the ''merge'' with SEARS , they would improve but that just brought in another section of a store to steal from, and for employees to avoid... they have closed about 1/2 the stores in Indiana, here's to hoping they close the rest... congrats on the job find though, mabye you will be the missing link Kmart needs to evolve.

I wish K-Marts were like that here. The ones I know have fallen way behind Target and Wal-Mart. I agree with Sharky, Target, then Wal-Mart, and finally K-Mart, although I would say Meijers is much better than K-Mart too.
You should work your way up and become the big boss and turn things around!

What is going on in your K-Mart? Every time I see you post about K-Mart, you say it smells. Mine is pretty bad, but at least it doesn't smell.
