I find that sometimes you can get great deals at K-Mart but the prices on figures is way to high, even if they are on clearance. Though like others have said sometimes they are the first to get things.

The K Mart in my area sucks. They use to have a great die cast(Hot Wheels, Johnny Kightning) car section and a decent(spelling) action figure section. But now the car section is nothing but Hot Wheels and Match Box. And the figures section is worse than it was. But once K Mart was a great store but they went downhill in my area once they started doing Super K Marts.

kmarts here in wisconsin are pretty bad.they have an odd smell, crappy selections on almost anything, over priced, and really poor customer service skills.some time back they closed the decent one's and left the worst stores open.the employee's look and act like something out of a zombie movie.

The k-mart in my town is one of two places that serve "Nathan's Famous" hot dogs, so they're pretty cool by me!

The nearest K-mart near me installed self-checkout registers. They were really nice, but I guess their regular clientel are too stupid to use them, so the store removed them. WTF
In general, it is not a bad store, but it is certainly not the best either. I remember it being better when I was a kid in the 80s. They actually used a blue light for their Blue Light Specials back then... used to look like an old school police light. Now it is some stupid ceiling mounted thing with blue fabric or something around it. WTF again |

KMart here is a joke, dirty floors, stuff tossed where ever and not where it should be, open items all over and just sad to be there. Prices are high when/if they have anything good in the first place but not the highest! Shopko is insane with their prices! During the 25th/ME line, they had single carded figures on clearance at $9!!!!! The "normal" everyday price there was $11.99 each!!!!! Comic packs were close to $20 each and vehicles were $30+ although I did see 2 or 3 Sting Raiders on the shelves there. Rise of Cobra prices were about the same, maybe a little higher on certain items, Night Raven was $49.99 on sale!!!! Normal price was $59.99!!!! Back when the vintage Joes came out in the early 80's, Shopko was insanely awesome for them and had tons of everything at good prices too, now, they are a joke along with KMart :(
I'd agree with Target, TRU, WalMart and then KMart and last Shopko.
