My wife and I joke about sending her back there in a bounty hunter costume for him. If I don't hear from her, I'll have to show up in my black robes.

90% of my Joes, Joe vehicles & even my original Star Wars figures were all "killed" in "sniper" attacks by my pellet gun/"howitzer". I even took a few out to the "boonies" and used a .22 rifle to destroy the vehicles.
I really regret doing that. I lost alot of cool toys that way. I do remember making a great shot though. I hit Malakili (Rancor Keeper) in the head with a BB and his head split right in half, one half flying off, the other half remaining on the neck post. It was a great shot. I still have my original RAH Flint, and his head has a perfect round BB dent on the front of his beret. Now I realize that I'm STILL not too old for GI Joes & toys in general. |

I buried numerous 82-83 figures (Cobra and Cobra Officers) buried in my moms backyard, in a metal Tonka truck (3 feet down) where we had a sandbox. I know exactly where it is. This thread is great because it REMINDED ME.
Excavating project this weekend peoples! lol |

I gave my entire ARAH collection to my kid brother who destroyed them all in due course. He never liked toys like I did.
The only figure I ever damaged was a Scotty figure from the movie Star Trek line. I thought the lack of articulation (no bendy knees or arms) really sucked, so I set Scotty on fire on the gas range. After inhaling a toxic cloud of plastic smoke, I felt bad and proceeded to "bandage" him up. He even got Q-tip crutches. Poor Scotty. |
