The joes create a leader from dna from past leaders and name him "the Gene-eral"
I posted this in responce to who would take over from hawk as a joke but it does pose an interesting question. Who's dna would go into a cloned joe leader? Toyfare magazine touched on this but cant remember who they used. |

I'd have to agree with Corndog, but add Stonewall Jackson, James Mattis, and Erwin Rommel.

A dna gene pool leader would have to be capable of commanding not only ground forces, but air and naval forces as well. Strong tactical knowledge and a true sense of leadership are a given but also the ability to understand the importance of technological advancement.
So here are my picks for the "Gene-ral": George Washington Gen. George S. Patton (Army) FADM Chester Nimitz (Navy) LT GEN John A. Lejune (Marine Corps) James Doolittle (Air Force/Aeronautics) If there's one thing we learned from Serpentor is that simply combining a bunch of strong leaders does not a good leader make.

Such a clone would suffer from the same problems Serpentor had.
The Patton personality would eventually take over.

I think I vaguely remember seeing this in a movie or television show. They used the genes of Napoleon, Alexander the Great, and a bunch of other old dudes.
