But from what I understand, Joefans are no where near as bad as Transformers or Star Wars fans.
That's kind of funny.... Joe is the "redheaded stepchild" of Hasbro in terms of it's Big 3 Boys Toys and how they sell. Joefans are the "redheaded stepchild" of the Big 3 fandoms.

I agree... It's a good time for Joe. For the first time in over 20 years, I paid full retail price for a G.I. Joe product with the PoC release. I didn't even do that when the movie came out (because I already knew how bad it was going to be). Nonetheless, it pummeled me into this world fully again. Sure, there are things that I didn't like. But I like the direction it's going.

That reminds me of a phrase I heard. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease? No, squeaky wheel gets replaced!"

I think this is a great time for GI Joe also. I just wish that they could come out with at least a few more figures with each wave. Also I really want the next GI Joe movie to be a lot better. The first one had it's moments (Joseph Gordon Levitt as The Doctor AKA Cobra Commander), but it was just lacking. These characters in GI Joe should be able to make a great movie like Star Wars.

Haters hate loudly, thats all there is to it.
Go to any board (except Kitty's Pryde, maybe we're just to new to have the influx of haters) and you're see 3/4 of the posts all complaining about everything. You'd think that with that much complaining that the properties would be canceled, rebooted, etc.. But always gotta remember, for every 1 complainer there's 3 or 4 that don't say a word because they enjoy what is being offered.

i think g.i. joe will become like star wars and transformers, just give it time, and we all will have what we are looking for eventually.. as long as us joe heads buy material to show numbers , then more will follow, some for the best and some for the worst. this thing called g.i. joe has the potential of becoming a monster like sw and tf.. baby steps first is something us unpatient minds needs to realize.....

When you pay almost 10 bucks for a 3.75" fig you almost earn the right to scrutinize every little thing about it IMO.
