Tatanka was the only true traitor in WWF. How dare he turn on Lex Luger like that!!
Naw, the storyline never bothered me a bit. I think I was more like "thank god no more Slaughter"

Wasn't he just doing what his employers told him to do? Like he was contractually obligated?

My friend and I took turns throwing his Warthog driving version against a steel door at home until he exploded.
I admit, I had already done quite a bit of adolescent toy smashing and burning, but only to figures I didn't like or ones in bad shape. I knew wrestling wasn't factual and I wasn't even a WWF fan, but this gave me an excuse. I loved that Sarge figure! But he had betrayed us and needed punishing. |

Yep. Cost him the Joe job though.

No different than any other storyline for the last 50 years that has taken advantage of hostilities or ill feeling toward either another country and/or global conflict.
HOWEVER The one story line that went wayyyyyy over the top was when these obviously looking Jihaad type militants carried the Undertaker off. I have never seen Vince break so fast under pressure to to end such stupid storyline. |

True. But I'm guessing the WWF paid more bills than Joe. Can't blame the man for doing what he needed to do.

At least this one holds legitimate discussion material, at least as legitimate as the WWF can be. Never liked wrestling so I didn't follow this storyline at all.

It is pretty much a given that all good guy wrestlers will turn bad at one point during there career... and then back to good.
